In 2016, Georgia Tech was awarded the Governor’s Cup for the ninth year in a row for having the highest contribution per employee or retiree to the State Charitable Contributions Program of the state institutions in its division. Now, we need your help to make it 10 in a row in 2017. This year's Campaign runs Sept. 11 to Nov. 17, 2017, and we’d like to ask for your support in reaching our goal of getting at least 1,500 members of our campus community to donate $390,000.
Faculty and staff have several options for contributing. In addition to payroll deduction and check donations, there are credit/debit card payment and WebCheck options. Giving online through TechWorks is the preferred method because it is confidential, secure, and simple to use.
To make a contribution:
- Log in to TechWorks, and select “Charitable Campaign.”
- Select “Make a Charitable Campaign Pledge,” and follow the instructions.
- Choose Payroll Deduction to set up the amount you choose to pledge in equal installments (deductions will begin in January 2018) or choose Credit/Debit or WebCheck to make a one-time donation by selecting the "Electronic Pledge Payment" option.
- If you'd rather download a pledge form, you can complete it and submit with your check to your unit ambassador or Chris Burke, Office of Government and Community Relations, mail code 0392.
